On August 26, Alxa High-tech Zone and Ulan Buh Demonstration Area experienced rainfall. In line with meteorological forecasts and the Level IV emergency response for flood control and severe rainstorm-related weather hazards, relevant departments and enterprises in the High-tech Zone and Demonstration Area have implemented preventive measures, conducted thorough safety inspections, and carefully adjusted production and operational schedules to effectively manage this rainfall event.
Stepping into Inner Mongolia Ruixin Chemical Co., Ltd., rain was gently pattering across the factory grounds. Staff members, equipped with testing devices, were meticulously inspecting each connection point of the power transformers and monitoring the operational status of the cooling systems—carefully documenting every parameter as they worked tirelessly to prevent equipment malfunctions such as tripping or power outages caused by the rain. It’s understood that in the company’s production process, the chlorine gas compressor must operate continuously and reliably. Any sudden shutdown due to a power failure could trigger a chlorine gas leak, posing serious risks to both production safety and the surrounding environment. As a result, conducting thorough equipment inspections amid the rain has become the top priority for the team right now.

Additionally, during the storage and transportation of metallic sodium, we ensure timely covering of materials in anticipation of inclement weather, while also intensifying our regular inspections.
To ensure visitor safety, the Hanhe Leisure Scenic Area, Dutai Post Station, and Chuanyuezhimen Service Station—all under Alashan Ulan Buh Tourism & Culture Investment Development Co., Ltd.—have temporarily closed. Meanwhile, the company is closely monitoring weather conditions, particularly severe convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, and short-term heavy rainfall, and will resume normal operations at the earliest opportunity once it is safe to do so.
