Good news! Two individuals from our league have been recognized as “Most Beautiful” model figures at the autonomous region level.

On August 5, 2026, the Double Support Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Political Work Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Military District jointly hosted the 2026 regional ceremony to announce the “Most Admirable Supporters of the Military” and “Most Admirable Veterans.” Two comrades from our league were honored with two distinct awards and proudly made the list. Among them, Meng Lin, General Manager of Inner Mongolia Ruixin Chemical Co., Ltd., was recognized as the “Most Admirable Supporter of the Military” at the autonomous‑region level, while Chen Changming, Political Instructor at the Huancheng West Road Fire Rescue Station in Ejin Banner, was named the “Most Admirable Veteran” at the same level.

Two exemplary role models have shone brightly in their respective fields: Meng Lin has devoted himself to supporting the military within his enterprise, proactively shouldering social responsibility and earnestly delivering tangible results for the armed forces; Chen Changming has remained steadfast on the front lines of fire rescue, faithfully fulfilling his duties to safeguard the safety and well-being of the people. Through concrete actions, they have put their original aspirations and mission into practice, vividly embodying the fine spirit of Alashan League as it deepens its efforts in fostering solidarity between the military and civilians and strives to make contributions across northern Xinjiang.

Going forward, the entire League will take exemplary role models as its benchmark, systematically carry out activities to study and publicize their outstanding achievements, and continue to foster a strong social atmosphere that honors the military profession, cares for veterans, and supports national defense.

Three years of military service forged him into a soldier‑turned‑entrepreneur. He has devoted himself to supporting the military and their families, with 12 retired servicemen now serving as mid‑level leaders in his company and five military spouses securing employment. He spearheaded the establishment of a crafts‑processing team for veterans, promptly addressing their most pressing needs. Guided by the principle that “business is good stewardship,” he has led his enterprise in donating to veteran‑care funds and local education initiatives, while cumulatively paying over RMB 319 million in taxes.

Menglin focuses on technological innovation and green development, driving annual R&D investment exceeding RMB 10 million and securing 32 patents. Its joint project with universities, “High-Entropy Molten-Salt Electrolysis Technology and Equipment for Producing Metallic Sodium,” has reached an internationally leading level. Through meticulous environmental management, the company saves over RMB 13 million in energy costs annually and has earned numerous provincial-level honors.

He takes it upon himself to forge a strong sense of community among all Chinese ethnic groups, organizing employees to participate in joint community development and promoting awareness of national security. From a soldier to an entrepreneur, Meng Lin has laid the groundwork for Alashan’s reputation as the “Sodium Capital of the World,” embodying the mission and responsibility of a retired serviceman through his unwavering dedication, and pressing forward with determination on the path of high-quality development in the real economy.

Chen Changming enlisted in December 2010 and was honorably discharged as part of a collective retirement in 2018. He currently serves as the political instructor at the Ejin Banner Fire Rescue Station in Alashan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Upholding the principle of “Putting Life First, Putting the People First,” he has participated in more than 1,900 fire-fighting and rescue operations, rescuing and evacuating 430 trapped individuals and safeguarding property worth over RMB 90 million. He has also led or taken part in a series of urgent, difficult, and high-risk missions, including the explosion at Huanghe Industrial & Trade Co., Ltd., the blast at the Yihua Chemical Plant, and the natural gas leak from an LNG tanker on November 29. As both a team member and a trainer, he joined the national “Flame Blue” competition training teams in 2019 and 2023, cultivating more than 50 elite firefighters.

As a dedicated firefighter and public servant, he actively joined the “Beijiang Blue Flame Volunteer Service Team,” engaging in volunteer activities such as tree‑planting, fire‑safety awareness campaigns, and efforts to promote urban civility. He has accumulated 760 hours of volunteer service, established the “Warm Sunshine Initiative” project, and long been committed to providing assistance to vulnerable groups, including those in need and left‑behind children. He also organized team members to register with the Chinese Bone Marrow Donor Program. Over the years, he has been awarded the Third Class Merit Citation four times and has received numerous honors, including “Outstanding Commander of National Fire and Rescue Stations,” “Advanced Worker of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,” “Outstanding Party Affairs Worker” from the Party Committee of Directly Affiliated Organs of the Autonomous Region, and “Model Veteran of Alashan League.”
