Immersive experiences and impactful education: Safety and environmental personnel from all branch offices traveled to the Alashan Training Base to participate in accident‑prevention awareness sessions.

To draw profound lessons from various production safety incidents, effectively enhance the risk‑identification capabilities and sense of safety responsibility among safety and environmental management personnel, and further strengthen the company’s foundation for safe production and environmental protection management, our company recently organized managers from the safety and environmental departments of all branch offices to visit the Alashan League Public Training Base for a specialized educational tour on accident‑related injury prevention.

This training session is centered on “observing accidents, understanding risks, clarifying red lines, and strengthening accountability,” with a focus on immersive, hands-on learning that draws on common industrial accident case studies, accident‑simulation reconstructions, and risk‑awareness education. The goal is to enable all safety and environmental management personnel to confront the hazards of accidents, dispel complacency, and address gaps in safety management.

Led by professional docents at the training base, participants toured the accident‑injury awareness exhibition hall, the safety‑incident simulation experience zone, and the high‑risk‑work accident case analysis exhibit. Through a variety of formats—including detailed reconstructions of real accidents using photographs and text, simulations of injury scenarios, videos of typical casualty cases, and reenactments of accidents caused by unsafe practices—trainees systematically studied the most common types of workplace incidents, such as falls from height, strikes by falling objects, mechanical injuries, electrical burns, poisoning and asphyxiation in confined spaces, fires and explosions, and hazardous‑chemical leaks.

For each typical type of accident and injury, the instructor provides a detailed analysis of the root causes, specific violations, gaps in risk management, and the resulting casualties, property damage, and environmental harm, vividly illustrating the grave consequences of unsafe work practices, managerial oversights, and inadequate risk assessment. Accident cases that previously existed only in documents and official reports are brought to life through real‑world displays and scenario reconstructions, making them tangible, impactful, and deeply resonant—enabling all participants to personally grasp the stark reality that even a single lapse in safety can lead to catastrophic outcomes.

During the study visit, safety and environmental personnel from each branch company, drawing on their respective roles and the actual production conditions at their facilities, conducted thorough self-assessments and reflections by comparing them with various types of accident‑related injuries, and carried out an in‑depth analysis of the weak links in their day‑to‑day safety management. Participants exchanged experiences in risk control, discussed approaches to addressing potential hazards, and engaged in detailed deliberations on key issues such as how to eliminate habitual violations, strengthen risk management for critical positions, implement preventive measures upstream, and improve on‑site safety supervision and management.

All participants in the training unanimously agreed that this cautionary education struck at the heart of the issue and left a profound impression. By closely examining various accident‑related case studies, they were genuinely and deeply alerted on a personal level. They came to fully recognize that all safety incidents stem from oversights in detail and lapses in accountability. Moving forward, they pledged to completely abandon complacency and wishful thinking, translating the lessons learned from these accidents into a conscious commitment to fulfilling their duties with diligence and responsibility.

Going forward, our company will take this cautionary education session as an opportunity to further strengthen the organization-wide safety‑education and awareness system. We will regularly conduct case‑study sessions, hands‑on training, and risk‑simulation exercises, continuously enhancing the professional competence and performance of our entire safety and environmental protection team. By adopting stricter standards and implementing more concrete measures, we will proactively prevent and mitigate all types of safety and environmental risks, resolutely avert any production‑safety incidents, and ensure the safe, stable, and high‑quality development of the enterprise.
