To carry forward the spirit of military dedication, deepen joint efforts between the military and local authorities, and promote a culture of supporting and honoring the armed forces, a themed lecture titled “Military Retirees’ Lecture Series: Visiting Ruida Chemical and Reflecting on Corporate Development” was held at the company on May 25. The event was hosted by the Alashan League Center for Services to Retired Military Cadres and organized by the Party Committee of Ruida Chemical Group. Comrade Zhang Xinhua, former commander of the Alashan Military Sub‑District and director of the League’s Military Retirees’ Management Committee, along with Comrade Tubuxin, director of the Alashan League Bureau of Veterans Affairs, and other leaders, attended the lecture. More than 80 participants, including Comrade Wang Jinda, Party Secretary and Chairman of Ruida Chemical Group, members of the leadership team, and cadres and employees, took part in the event.

The core themes of this presentation are: upholding the original aspiration of serving in the military and guarding the borders; settling down after retirement to combat desertification; continuing to contribute one’s remaining energy after leaving active duty; and offering words of encouragement to employees, urging them to shoulder their responsibilities. Over the past fifteen years, Commander Zhang Xinhua has remained true to his original mission, never losing his spirit even after retirement. He has proactively dedicated himself to the Alashan League’s ecological sand-control efforts, stationing himself year-round in the Gobi Desert, planting trees to stabilize the sand and working tirelessly on the front lines of ecological restoration. Together with three other commanders, he has selflessly given back, setting aside personal gains and losses, thereby demonstrating through concrete actions the noble qualities of loyalty, perseverance, and sustained dedication that characterize veteran Party members and retired military personnel. Faced with daunting challenges—difficulties in planting, securing funding, leasing land, and recruiting labor—he has consistently sought solutions without backing down, embodying the resolve and confidence to see a single blueprint through to completion. Drawing on the Ruida Group’s journey of development, he delivered an inspiring ideological‑political lecture that vividly captured the spirit of contemporary soldiers, veterans, and those who have devoted themselves to frontier regions.

This event fully demonstrates the high regard and care that higher-level authorities accord to work related to veterans, enterprise development, and military‑support initiatives. It also serves as a concrete manifestation of Ruida Group’s implementation of the Autonomous Region Party Committee’s “1571” work plan. At present, the Party Committee of Ruida Chemical Group is conducting study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, with a key focus on striking the right balance between visible results and long‑term, underlying contributions—upholding the mindset that “success need not be attributed to me” while strengthening the sense of responsibility that “success must include my contribution.” It is hoped that, through this briefing, all members of the Ruida community will remain true to their original aspirations and mission, carry forward the spirit of the Mongolian horse, and adopt a pragmatic, down‑to‑earth work style. They should approach their work and daily lives with high morale, cherish the hard‑won environment for development, diligently strengthen internal capabilities to ensure safe production, and actively fulfill their social responsibilities as a private enterprise.

Following the briefing, Comrade Zhang Xinhua and his delegation, accompanied by Comrade Wang Jinda, conducted an on-site visit to the production lines of affiliated enterprises, a newly constructed project, the R&D center, and the company’s Party‑and‑mass activity center. They exchanged insights and experiences—drawing on concrete practices such as tree planting for sand fixation—regarding corporate technological innovation, workplace safety, Party building as a driving force for high‑quality enterprise development, and the role of demobilized military personnel within the organization, while jointly discussing visions for future growth.
