Ruida Chemical Group Held the Launch Ceremony for the 2026 Safety Production Month.
2026-05-29
On May 29, the Inner Mongolia Ruida Chemical Group Co., Ltd. held the launch ceremony for its “Safe Production Month.” Attending the event were Comrade Wang Jinda, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, along with members of the leadership team, heads of subsidiaries, managerial personnel, and more than 80 frontline employees.
Prior to the ceremony, a promotional video was shown, highlighting the theme of the “Work Safety Month” campaign: “Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hidden Dangers.”

Comrade Hu Donghui, a member of the company’s Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, delivered the opening address on behalf of the Group’s Safety Production Committee. He emphasized that the accidents in Inner Mongolia on January 18 and March 19, in Hunan on May 4, and in Shanxi on May 22 were truly alarming. Whether it was the improper co‑storage of explosive materials or the use of “dual‑track blueprints” to evade oversight, these were not fictional disaster movies—they were stark realities. This month-long campaign is aimed at identifying hidden hazards around us and bringing potential risks under effective control. Without thorough inspections and rectification, talk of safety is mere empty rhetoric.

The Group currently operates four enterprises engaged in the production and transportation of hazardous chemicals. Its operational settings and products involve high temperatures, high pressures, flammability, explosiveness, toxicity, harmfulness, extreme toxicity, precursors for illicit drug and explosive manufacturing, and major hazard sources. Every pipeline, every valve, every material charge, and every procedural step must be executed with absolute precision—there is no room for even the slightest error. Failing to identify potential problems is itself the greatest problem. Strengthening realistic emergency response drills is not optional; it is a mandatory requirement. We must avoid performative exercises and, based on risk assessments, conduct live‑fire simulations and unscripted drills focused on scenarios such as material leaks and equipment malfunctions, thereby honing our capabilities in handling emergencies, accelerating response times, enhancing inter‑agency coordination, and fostering mutual support.

Safety is the most fundamental aspect of people’s well-being, and it represents the most enduring measure of good governance. We must firmly uphold the bottom line that development must never come at the expense of safety, ensuring that every member of the Ruida family becomes a whistleblower, a supervisor, and a beneficiary of safety management. Those who treat safety with negligence, fail to report identified hazards, or even conceal them will be subject to performance evaluations and disciplinary actions in accordance with the “Code of Conduct for Party Members and Cadres on Diligent Performance of Duties” and relevant regulations. In July, the Group Party Committee will also convene at an appropriate time to hear reports on second-quarter workplace safety issues and to review the outcomes of Safety Production Month activities. Let us, together—over 1,000 employees across the Group—join forces to strengthen and empower Ruida’s commitment to safe production.

Comrade Dang Shoufei, Deputy General Manager of Safety and Environmental Protection at the Group, read out the plan for the “Safety Production Month” activities and made specific arrangements. Under the lead of a member of the Group Party Committee and General Manager of Ruidataifeng Company, all attendees took a collective oath, signed the thematic banner, and watched an educational warning film.

“Everyone for safety” is not just a slogan—it is something each of us does, every day. Ensuring that “everyone knows how to respond to emergencies” is not merely a task; it means truly embedding “identifying and addressing risks and hazards” into every process, every post, and every detail. We hope that frontline workers and managers will cherish the environment of safe development, uphold the “bottom line” and the “red line” of safety, and deliver a satisfactory record of safety—for Ruida, for every employee, and for their families.
